DJ’s Card of The Day! In honor of the National Day of Prayer, here’s a Tim Tebow Card for you all. Tebow was well known for praying before, during, and after the games he played, aiming to honor God with every game he was in.
In 1775 the Continental Congress called for the first National Day of Prayer, and it was signed into law in 1952 by Harry S. Truman.

Heavenly Father,
Thank you for giving us this day. Help us to honor you in all that we do today. Lord please guide us as we walk through the day.
Help give our leaders wisdom as they make decisions for our Nation, States, and Communities. Please protect us in the midst of any unrest, and give us a peace that only can come from you.
Lord continue to draw people to yourself, and let the Truth be heard by all. Help us to honor you in how we think, talk, and act, and in everything we do today.

1 Timothy 2:1-6
First of all, then, I urge that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and thanksgivings be made for all people, for kings and all who are in high positions, that we may lead a peaceful and quiet life, godly and dignified in every way. This is good, and it is pleasing in the sight of God our Savior, who desires all people to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth. For there is one God, and there is one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus, who gave himself as a ransom for all, which is the testimony given at the proper time.
